Tim Smallbon

Tim brings more than 40 years of seed industry experience to his role managing the UMS Research Station. Specialising in research trials and evaluation, Tim has built a career on delivering reliable results that benefit both agronomists and farmers in the field. He thrives on the fact that every season presents new challenges, and finds satisfaction in helping UMS identify varieties that perform under changing conditions. Outside of work, Tim enjoys reading, training dogs, and leatherwork.
